What hurts more?

Paintball Or Airsoft?

I've been shot in the side of the head at point blank range with an airsoft shotgun (350fps), and It made me shed a little tear.

I've been shot 15ft away with a paintball to my kneecap. And that stung worse than the Airsoft Bullet.
I'm just curious because the maps at Flag Raiders are average size, not point-blank. So, I don't think I will even feel the bullet hit me. But, I'm not experienced, so I wouldn't know for certain.

MAN UP! The pain factor is pretty much the same for both.

If your truly concerned, find yourself a full head coverage mask, some thick BDUs, knee pads, elbow pads, neck guard... The most painful in my opinion is getting hit in the nails or knuckles, so a good pair of gloves would be a plus. Oh yea, ball shots would probably hurt too, I had no serious ballsack injuries and I try not to think about it LOL

Paintball.

Their projectiles impact at ALOT higher joule impact force than ours.

Paintball is like getting punched with a solid fist where airsoft is like getting stung by a bee

Airsoft to paintball is like comparin apples to oranges...I would say shot for shot, paintball would hurt more..but..and here's the kicker, airsoft is full auto.. Now this bein said I have been hit in a high sentry position a couple times( in 10-15 seconds) with paintballs at 30-50 feetish away and I knew it..I've also been hit in the exact same senerio in airsoft with a full high cap and I can honestly say in that situation, airsoft is way more extreme

Yeah. When I was shot in the knee it felt like a strong midget punching me in the kneecap. I've never been stung by a bee, but the airsoft didn't hurt that much. Also, I will probably get stronger by the time I'm 16.

lol what if your allergic?

and having played both, paintball hurts more the projectiles are larger, even though they burst upon impact they still have enough force to cause sufficient pain, in comparison to airsoft

Paintball. Amos is correct. But generally if you felt it worse with a paintball you're right. I don't know why you had to ask the question when you answered it yourself in your own post.

it's not 16 to play here in Ontario, maybe some of the more rural areas allow 16 year olds to play with a parent with them on the field, but you'd be hard pressed to find a field here that will allow that.
