Getting back into the sport!... finally

Hey guys, well its been a few years since ive been off the scene. I used to be under the username Agent Smith on this site, dont know if anyone out there would remember me since its been a longgg time since ive been on. Why not use your old account?

It's actually a bannable offense to have more than one account.

Should be fine but probably good idea to get a checkup/tune done by a gundoc.

Things like lubing gears and such if you know how to do that. Also hopefully you didn't keep your spring compressed.... Did you? If so you might be in for a surprise when you go to chrono. Simple fix though really, just get a new spring.

@ Stryak, I think it's because he forgot his password.

OP: Ask the mods to merge the accounts if that's the case. Damn... I just looked at the join date of your supposed other account and man that's way back. There seems to be a lot of older players coming back into the sport as well as a lot leaving (or exclusively attending private games/not posting anymore).

Thanks for the reply, and i did not keep the springs compressed. So I should be a-ok. But ill definetely look into getting a gundoc to look at them just to be sure. And yea the reason im not on my other account is because i had lost the password, and also the email i had used for that account i know longer use as well. And since its been years since i used either i have no clue what my password is lol. Or else id definetely go back onto my other account

Well in that case I don't think the mods would have a problem with it, since that account isn't active.

Welcome back into the hobby/sport!

The guns should be fine unless they were bone dry when you stored them. Might want to check out the hopup rubber and that it hasn't shriveled into dust. Why not just try shooting them? Probably the best test.

Thanks again guys, and it feels awesome to be back actually. Cant wait to get fully back into it. And yea i shot off a few rounds, but I just wanted to make sure i came on and checked before i shot off a ton of rounds and messed something up, But after firing they seem just like they were when i put them down lol. So that is probably a good sign.

Because you went with TM, you should be good to go. Take them out for a plinking session and see what you have. Then chronograph the thing to make sure you still have at least 250-260 fps with .2g bbs.
