I've heard that you should stay away from all aftermath guns except for the MP5 Broxa and the Kraken.

500 fps and it shoots full auto O.O ? Sounds a bit exaggerated ?

both are old news.
I believe the M14 is a re-branded CYMA with a stupidly high FPS spring and a rail system. I have heard that you should stay away from all of their Armalite variants, not sure what the original brand is, but apparently its garbage.

I think they chrono their guns with .12 BB's, that way they get the higher numbers. Although that would still makeit around 400-something FPS with a .2, which does sound a bit high.
EDIT: Pus beat me to it. |

It's just a cyma M14.
Nothing special. |

Agreed, nothing special at all.
Aside from difference in build quality the only thing I remember about the CYMA M14 Socom compared to a TM M14 Socom is that while both have non threaded flash hiders that are secured via grub screw, the TM still has a threaded outer barrel while the CYMA does not.

I don't think the Aftermath M14 is available in Canada, or at least Ontario at this time. Quit a while ago I emailed Aftermath out of curiosity and all they say is they don't sell consumer direct (which wasn't my question) and that they would not tell me who sold what guns. They did give a list of distributors that sold Aftermath product and that I could call them for more info. I wasn't that intrested so never went any further with it. Haven't heard a lot of good reports on the M4 guns from them. I have shot with guys using the Broxa,s and they love them and they seem to do very well. Most had a fare amount of rounds put through them with no problems.
