K98 and MP40 questions.

I'm putting together a German Heer impression.

I want to get a k98, mostly because I love the gun but also because it's accurate for the impression.

Since no one can tell me where to buy one since I'm not ave-verified yet;
Could someone please tell me about how much I should expect to pay for a Tanaka K98 and if they're easy to get your hands on?

Also; I've found somewhere that can supply a Cybergun MP40 for a decent price.
Does anyone know of how good this brand is? I've found a few reviews, but would like to get as much info I can get before buying.

Thanks.

If it's anything WW2 related, I take a quick look through ASC and then usually here:

Last i heard, the Kar98k could be brought in by one specific retailer. im sure others can get it, but i just heard about a certain one. I believe he quoted said person $1350 shipping and after tax.

Agm/cyma same thing- great starter gun. Finding a tanaka k98 will be very hard (most retailers r out of stock)

The sad hurtful truth

I'm just leaving my hope with Santa for one.
I've told Santa I'm willing to chip in for it, it's all I want for christmas... Lets hope he gets the message loud and clear, and gets it right

I waited for a year plus for a Tanaka to come up for sale here on the classifieds, needless to say, won't be letting go of that any time soon.

You guys make me want to cry.

Anyways. So I know the Dboys Kar 98 is a real bugger with the shell ejection, but... If you were to place some Shell trap or manage to keep good track of them.
Do you feel it could possibly be game worthy?

Maybe some upgrades depending.

honestly, no it isn't game worthy. wait for the tanaka. contact the local retailers who do custom orders. if you dont know any, PM me. save up and get the Tanaka. Its well worth it.

Oh yeah of course, that's all I've heard and come to known.
But for the time being I was wondering about it hehe.

Figure it'll be a looong wait, got to fulfill it somehow.

But here's something I've yet to hear about the T K98... I know some gas guns don't like to perform well in the winter, how is the Tanaka?

Any guess on how many shots you can get off per fill?

it performs amazingly well in the proper weather conditions. like all gas guns, you cant use it in cold weather. IIRC, you can get at least 2 full mags off before needing to refill. i think you can get part of a 3rd off, but those shots wont perform as well as the rest. seriously. dont waste money on a filler. save up that bit that you would put towards a shitty Dboys and buy a Tanaka kar98k

The tanaka is over powered lol, worse with propane. Shoots hard and fast, I love it. There is g version that allows you to adjust the fps but that version is even more rare

AGM MP40s are the easiest way to arm for a WWII german impression. Keep in mind that stock is super wobly, I fixed mine with JB weld and it still pisses me off.
Second choice would be the Stg44 for late war set-up but these fire hard and are more expensive.
