Cybergun SIG 552
Is the Cybergun SIG 552 totally compatible with Tokyo Marui SIG 552 accessories including the HurricanE SIG 552 metal body and internal gearbox components? Also, what is the main difference between the Cybergun SIG 552 and the Jing Gong SIG 552 and which of the two is the better one?

That's what I thought too that the JG would be better. But is the Cybergun totally compatible with Tokyo Marui SIG 552 accessories like the JG SIG 552?

The Cybergun Sig is just a re brand of the JG. They're both 100% TM compatible as they're TM clones.

The ASC member THE CAT owns one of these Cybergun SIG 552 and he has confirmed the gun is indeed 100% TM compatible, and you can check his posts here: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...hlight=sig+552

Indeed Dao. For now, everything I strip or mod on it show me it's fully TM compatible.

Good to know! I just ordered one from BuyAirsoft.ca and I should be receiving it very shortly.

Hey CAT, I saw the pics of your SIG 552, looks sweet! Did you paint the clear receiver black yourself? If so, what kind of paint did you use? I'm guessing it's a scratch proof paint?

Not sure what paint THE CAT used, but you can use the Krylon Camouflage paint ultra-flat black which adders pretty good to most plastics with no need for sanding or priming.
http://www.krylon.com/products/camou...on_technology/ If you properly clean the surface and wait for the paint to dry, I'd say wait about 1 week, I find it pretty scratch resistant, though I do usually use a gray color primer, so if you do eventually scratch the paint it will show a nice metal looking gray color and not a transparent plastic ![]()

Only use sandpaper on grips and stocks to give it that nice rugged texture. |
