Wouldn't a can of paint chrome be simpler and cheaper?

It would be difficult. What are you trying to do exactly?

I'm not holding any secrets, but it is for a Hicapa project...
Some people LOOOOOOVE - GOLD.... I LOOOOOOOVE - CHROME.... I know it might be pricey but in the end I should be happy! Have you heard of any trials/experiences with this technique at all Greylocks?

On plastic? That would look good and last? No.
On metal, yep, but I'd go for some really fancy parkerizing (my choice) or anodyzing (if you want funky colors). Plastic will just look like plastic unless you are an expert (and expensive). You dont want the results to look like something from a dollar store, do you? Go with a metal base, gives you far more choices for the results. |
