vsr-10 perfect silent

Hi! How i can made my vsr-10 allmost perfect silent. I have in my vsr m150. Do you have any trick how i can made my vsr supressed?

if there is a gas bolt upgrade for it, that will make it near silent... but dont plan on using it during the winter. i know that 007 has gas bolt upgrades for the M24, but im not too sure on the vsr.

There is a gas cylinder for the VSR, but it's pretty hard to get it, as it's almost always out of stock everywhere (in stock right now at UNC for 108$). There are ''silent dampers'' available from laylax to put on the cylinder head. It will absorb a bit of the ''smack'' from the piston, but with a 150 in there, don't expect it to be perfectly silent. A silencer can really help quite a bit too for bolt actions.

What is making the noise? I'll assume its the piston head/ cylinder head contact. You could try to use a supressor, an air brake or a padded cylinder head. Some suppressors have a greater affect deppending on how its postioned. Facing it (being shot at), it works but hearing it from the side doesnt. You could aslo try moding the piston head or cylinder head. There are some guides on making padded cylinder heads on gungineer. You might need to translate this site. The air brake is also explained on gungineer. Its is usually used on high ROF setups but it does decrease sound. It uses an post to inter the cylinder head's port which traps air and cushions the piston head.

Filling the stock's empty spaces with "home renovation expanding foam insulation" (used around window/door frames) will also reduce the noise somewhat, as well as make it feel less 'toylike'.

Did this to my L96 and it made a huge amount of difference, instead of the normal sound it's a more bassier "thwup" it almost sounds like if I were to put a suppressor on it it'd be near silent.

The foam also made my gun feel alot more sturdy, and have a nice weight to it.

How would you go about pulling off the simulated rubber butt pad on the vsr-10 series?
I have a Well MB03 or TSD SD700, or I don't even know. BuyAirsoft isn't the most knowledgable.
All I know is that the SD700 is on the box, and its got a TSD warranty.
Anyways, how would I do that?

It can distort the sound of a piston head hitting the cylinder head, but it's not dampened by too much. The most sound from an AEG is from the gearbox. Most people use suppressors to hide inner barrels, like you've suggested.
