Difference between?
Hello again, people.
I'm looking to buy an MP5 with a tac light and I'm looking at a classic army one, I'm just wondering what, if there is one, is the difference between the MP5 A2 and the MP5 A4? Thanks! |

Grips, and fire modes, I think.
EDIT: ooops. This isn't RS we're talking about, eh? Okay, yeah, it's just grips in that case. |

A/SD-anything 2 or 3 = Old-style "SEF" receiver.
A/SD-anything 4, 5, or 6 = Navy (N) receiver. |

Personally, I look the look of the Navy receivers better than the "SEF" ones. They look so...dated. Should the day come that I replace my G36C, it'll probably be with an MP5A5.

Is the difference between the Navy and the "SEF" receivers purely visual?
