JG/Echo 1 or Dboys M4A1
Dboys recently have the full metal 2007 version M4A1 and I was thinking of getting that besides the JG/Echo 1 M4A1. Which would you think if you handled both would be better in performance or realism? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

The Canadian user base does not have much experience with these, we mostly use high end guns.
You might want to look up a more local ressource. |

neither... they have V2 gearboxes!!
haha J/K Dboys doesnt have much going on. They dont have many reviews out so its hard to say if they would be better... but they are deffinatly in a different price range than the JG guns. And i know for a fact that the JG guns shoot well. There are lemons... but you can always make lemonade right? search youtube for Dboys and see what comes up.

Dboy gearboxes arent the best, they shoot about 300fps and when you open them up, its like dissecting an bug theres gross multicolored greased everywhere. the hopup also blows gonads. the outer body and motor arent to bad, but eh you get what you paid for right

Thanks for all your responses. Because just the fact that I prefer metal over plastic and since the Dboys have a full metal body and I'll probably won't shoot it much so the gearbox should not be that big of a problem for awhile so I just bought the Dboys 3681M. And Down-side is right if it does break down I'll probably replace the internals or buy a JG/Echo 1 and put the metal body on it.

At pointact.com in the U.S. They sell them at $128 which compare to other retailers who sell them at around $140. They have great customer service and responded to my e-mail very quickly.

Cancel your order quick. A U.S. store will sell it, and be helpfull, but what they didn't tell you is that your gun will get siezed at the border. You will lose your money.

Yeah I thought of that before I bought it but fortunately, I have a house down at Bellevue Wa, (about 10 miles east of Seattle, Wa) and my airsoft will be shipped to that house by UPS and I will then be heading down their after the weekend to pick it up.

That would be even worse. If you don't declare it at the border, and they find it, you are then smuggling. This is much worse than just losing your money. Try cancel your order, it will save you much heart-ache.

pick it up and stay there, I actually do live in the U.S. but have family on both sides of the border, I'm on vacation most of the summer and I drove up north to be with them and I'll be heading back down to the U.S. in a few days and be greeted with the always friendly delivery man holding my M4 safe, and unseized.
