Canadian version of shrike?

As the title says does Canada have anything like the SHRIKE, i love the belt fed armalit style but dont feel like picking up a 249 for my Canadian loadout.

I don't think anyone actully adopted the Shrike as their LMG.

it just looks SEXY as hell. Im going to try and emulate it with my C8 metal body. just have to figure out what parts i need to rebuild the upper reciever.

yah, ive seen that, i dont feel like spending $1700 on somthing i can just mod myself. Its a sweet looking kit but i like my big A2 front end and other accessories.

Is there any other way to have the belt fed ammo enter the gun like the 249 or the shrike.

*H&K fanboy comment* I personaly think that the shrike is ugly, I know all the armalite users will wholeheartedly disagree. Its a belt fed armalite with a drum mag... whats so much better about it? Don't get me wrong, the Armalite is a cool design, but its nothing super special...

LOL... it's kinda heavy.. even for me (6'3, 210lbs). For lmgs I'd go M60E4 all the way, but I'm not really an lmg guy.

Its the belt fed ammo on the side...it kind of makes my nippels hard. I play the support gun for my team so this is what im hopeing to build. I allready have the gun put together its just the custom mods that i want to do over the winter.
