Bang for the buck = Guarder
Perfect fit out of the box = Creation Nicest finish, feel and details = Prime Never handled G&P, so I can't classify it. If you can afford it, and have the time and patience to get it fitted, get the Prime. It's the nicest frame (it's not nice on your wallet though). ![]() http://www.pbase.com/illusive_airsoft/p226navy |

Creation hands down for overall fit, function, finish and price. They also offer a steel kit.
Guarder kits need quite a bit of work. The Action kit is the same price range, fit considerably easier, but have terrible finish. Stay away from the G&P kits. |

Well I have an Action frame, and Creation Slide and Barrel Kit. I have to agree the Creation is definately a sweet fit and feel.

i have a guarder kit on order.... some say it is easy to fit others say it needs lots of work. supposaidly it is different from kit to kit with that one. still the price is good and from what i have seen the overall finished product looks alot better than the action kit.
that said guys i am fairly new at stripping apart a gbb and i cant seem to really remove the major parts from the frame. i can get it pretty stripped down but alot of the bits just dont seem to want to move on me. can any of you who have done these upgrades post some suggestions or even better a few pics of the removal process? i know im trying to take pics throughout my upgrade in hopes of posting a photo guide for how to do it in the future but for the moment i need some help of my own from you who already have.

I have the Guarder.
I didn't install it but word was it was a huge bitch for fitting the block and chamber in. Make sure you have a 150% recoil spring too. You may want to get someone to help you. |

i have a 150% spring coming with it too... i did remember to do that when i ordered it. i know i in the end will likely have to ask fo help but i would really like to be able to do it on my own if at all possible. and realy i dont think it would be that difficult (not counting making the kit itself fit if needed.) as long as i can get the basic parts out of my tm. thats where i seem to be having the trouble.

LoL just do what I did then, change out all the TM internals to new and stronger replacement ones, gun will shoot hot and straight and no longer safe for CQB, but out distances most upgraded AEG's out there :P So it becomes a great primary weapon.

although tempting to do that i do want to keep it within reason so i can use it as a CGB gun or as a last resort, holy shit they are way too close to me for my own good, in the field gun....

ya.. im looking into the guarder.. once my stock slide goes. so far, im only running duster on it. so its gonna b a while.. but its costing me a lot, so i think im gonna pickup a propane adapter and start running propane thru it....
i dotn have hte cash for the creation.... spent all my money on upgrading my comp. damn it. |

my guarder kit is here and i have already assembled the lower frame... its incredibly hard to do (mainly just a shitload of fiddly little parts) it does need some grinding on the slide/block since i cant get the block into the slide which is kinda a problem. otherwise though im very impressed, its got nice deep engravings and authentic markings. all in all its an amazing kit.
on a side note i have put in a 150% spring in the hammer and it does have an effect on the pull, namely it makes it alot harder.
