Tokyo Marui Colt Government M1911A1
Am I the only one that is excited about the Tokyo Marui Colt M1911A1? There doesn't seem to be much discussion about it but I am so excited about it. It just looks like a beast and I can't wait for its gas blow back.

Ill write up a short review in the next few days
Initial impressions are; beautiful finish, amazing accuracy, weaker blowback than hi-capa series and, surprisingly, with duster, you can pop off about two whole magazines worth of bb's with one fill of gas |

is that really surprising. i've heard several ppl say that they were worried about how many shots they could fire from the single stack mags. my WA single stack can shoot off 2 and a bit mags in one fill also, whether thats due to the r-type valve or the nice warm weather we're having is the question.

shinjin, when you say "weaker" blowback, what do you mean?
I ask because it could mean more than one thing: 1 - Blowback is "slower" than with the hi-capa (literally) 2 - Blowback is still very quick, but feels "lighter" than hi-capa (moves your hand less) 3 - Blowback is just plain wimpy |

I was not impressed with the blowback as well. The recoil is slower and not as strong as the Hi Capa series. This may be due to the fact that the gun is releasing less gas. Recoil should not be a problem if you choose to run propane/green gas in this gun.
One more thing… I believe the blowback is starting before the BB has left the barrel. I can’t be 100% sure yet as more tests need to be done. |

the recoil spring seems to be exactly the same as the 5.1; very snappy return, but less perceived recoil well, considering that the TM 1911 holds 26 rounds in a double stacked single stack magazine, yes, that is quite surprising to me |

Cool.
Sounds like it'd be fun to get a few magazines, and only put 7 rounds in each. When metal slides come out for it, I'm sure the recoil will slow down a little and take a more ".45-esque" feel. |

My 4.3 hi-capa seems to be blessed with a "80 round gas capacity"
Goes down well with the nearly 30 bbs that fit in the mag *edit Dont know what that has to do with this thread, but i dont think anyone will be killed over it. |

"when metal slides come out for it" eh fish?
they already are! I stuck on the 4.3 hi capa slide onto the 1911 frame and it works perfectly |
