I have one, if harleyb and BC_K don't respond to this thread and you have questions I know they have them too and would be more than happy to help.
Personally I love the thing. It's heavy, it fits a large battery, and it's solid as hell. Internally I've had minor problems with the hop-up but there are some cheap fixes for that. Basically: Pros: -Very heavy and solid. -A lot of metal inside and outside makes it durable. -Looks nice. -Can fit large battery without modification. Cons: -Standard mags (57 rds.) are all but impossible to get. -Fire selector has a lack of feedback. -May have potential problems with the CA hop-up. Read reviews and maybe ask some more specific questions it'll help you find the information you're looking for. I know there is a good review on Redwolf Airsoft somewhere and a couple other decent ones on the net as well. Just do a quick google search and you should find a decent amount. |

What he said. I wouldn't say it's the most ideal starter gun, go for something more reliable like a TM first.

CA guns have improved tremendously. These guns are becoming more and more ideal for first time airsofters. So dont be afriad of purchasing CA guns. They have improved over the years in an extremely timely fashion releasing version after versions of guns; new one being better than the last. If you want a solid gun with preupgraded componants such as metal bushings and reinforced pistion etc, go with CA.

*cough* TMs aren't 100% reliable out of the box either. MP7 anyone?
My buddy bought a CA33E. I am impressed. If you want a hella SOLID gun that's damn near indestructable (I was told they did drop tests with this rifle and it survived a five foot fall unscathed; professional driver, closed course, do not attempt) then a CA33E fits that description. He abolsutely loves it and and he's not the type who's easy on his toys. |

WK, you ARE however the CA importer it seems, so if they've updated to a v2 or anything like that maybe they've fixed some things.

Mine seems ridiculously durabale, but again I haven't had it for that long. I skirmish with it once or twice a week and I'm not super-gentle with her either and she's fine. I will also keep an eye out for, and post up, breakage problems. I'd still say (as much as I love CA guns) that TM is *generally* a better gun to get for someone just entering the game.

Yeah, CA33e a preety good gun. it might not be the best for beginners, but its rock solid. The only problem like aiden said is that it is impossible to find locaps

It was my first gun (before harley or another TKF member bought it) and for me it was the best gun I've owned. Shot perfect everytime, solid and unique on the field.
The con, as listed above, is when i got it they hadn't made low caps for it at all.

To say this gun is solid is an understatement. My G3A3 is like a wet noodle compared to the 33e. It was also my first gun. I remember Will from Specarms trying to talk me out of it. haha.

I bought this gun after having played for awhile and find that it is the most relieable gun I have owned. As ar as it breaking I don't know about that but being a US Marine I tend to play rough with my guns. My freinds have all bought various AEG from various manufactures and all but mein and my brothers CA M4 have broken. But I will agree the lack of lowcap mags is irratating. But over all it is probley one of the most vesertile and relieable guns out there. Weather you play as a grunt pounding over everything in your path or with the stealth and cunning of a sniper, like I do, it will serve you well.
