Semi Automatic Gas Rifle
Hey all! I've been looking around for a little while and I am interested in possibly looking for a semi automatic gas-powered rifle, either WWII era or present day. However, this seems to be a bit of a pickle to find...anyone have any suggestions? Is there any sort of affordable semi-auto m1 variant?
Thanks ~Nigel |

There's the Marushin M1 carbine, and the new Marushin M1 Garand will be released soon I think. There's also the Smokeys M1 Garand, however it is ridiculously expensive.

Hmm...I was under the impression that the m1 carbine was bolt action...

We are talking about the Airsoft version, the real steel is Semi, but the airsoft it bolt action.

I hate when people use real steel facts when everone else is talking about airsoft.
Get on the same page here people. ^^ ancorp, if you really care it will take two seconds to find out who makes the M1, since it was already mentioned above in the second post. |

ancorp, when we say bolt action, we mean that you have to cock the action for each shot.

Marushin is releasing an M2 Carbine relatively soon, which I should hope is select-fire because that's the only thing that distinguishes it from the M1. I had no idea you had to recock the M1 each time you fired, you'd think that being a gas-powered gun it would do that for you.

Alright, I get it, its a springer... how much cheaper is it compared to the gas version? (in Canada)
Still looks very nicely done, but I though that the Marushin ones were 8mm BB, semi-auto, gas powered. Eh, learn something new everyday. Cheers, Alex |
