TM SIG p226
Hey ASC!
I am looking for sellers or owners that have had some hands on experience with this side-arm. I have read some reviews online about it and heard good things so far. I love the feel of the SIG p226 but haven't held the TM version. Any advice is much appreciated and thanks in advance!! |

It's great. If you want an all metal version go with a KJW.

I've heard that because of the design of the TM, it has better gas consumption. I have had some hands on experience with the Skeleton Sidearms version and the consumption is outrageous. In some cases, lasting only half a clip.
Also, I've seen that there are a lot of options as far as upgrades for the TM. |

TM and KJW are very similar. I can not speak for the SIG but I do have a full metal KJW M9 and it is very good on gas.

My TM P226 is great on gas... One fill lasts about 2 mag loads (when the weather is nice)
Even though the TM is plastic the durability of it is great

I was thinking of getting the same gun but decided on the kjw because it's full metal and can be upgraded with the tm parts

Thanks Panzer and Ksuechuc, I was interested to see the major difference in consumption between both makes.
Is the hop-up an easy adjustment with the TM? I haven't seen much detail on this |

Yeah... you gotta take the slide off the frame to adjust the hop up on the TM.
The TM mags are great too, I only have one and I sometimes shoot in my garage so I just keep filling and shooting and the Mag still holds gas and functions perfectly.

This is all metal TM based but it's definately not a cold weather piece.
![]() I think there is still a beauty of a no-rail version up for sale in the classifieds still.

I would recommend using TM mags instead of KJW mags, as KJW mags have a nice habit of developing leaks, even when maintained properly :c

will tm mags fit in a kjw?

get the tm over the kjw, it may be plastic but it's a no brainer. tm makes the best gbb's out there hands down and the 226 is an awesome one even in stock form. upgrade the recoil spring if you're going to run it on propane and you're good to go.

I dunno dude, the TM sig club is pretty exclusive...
Theres a weekly club fee and a 3 month initiation process. I dont think you could handle it.
