Depends of your style, but a hand help "m203" isn't always ready.
What I mean by that is that your grenade launcher that's hand held isn't aimed at the enemy all the time, plus, it's quite long to take it out !! On the other hand, any gun mounted grenade launcher, in your case, the M203, is compact, fast to reload and always ready ! It's the best thing you can get to "clean" rooms !!! My opinion, though !

first spelling learn how to spellcheck.
second, depends on you play style. m203's are expensive and heavy but being mounted on your gun they're more then often pointed towards an enemy and ready to go. however grenade "pistols" are lighter and great secondaries not to mention primaries in CQB |

How could one be better if they do the same thing?
One you shoot from your hand. Obvious enough One you shoot from the underbarrel of your gun. Fine example of convenience right there. So put simply, If you have a gun, but don't want a grenade launcher on it, but you want a grenade launcher, buy the standalone. If the situation is reversed, and you don't want to carry extra. Put one on the gun. Profit. |

Also remember they add a lot of weight on your gun.
