Sorry for the necro, but when are they coming out with the Galil? I saw the galil ARM on the pictures for shot show, but so far ive heard no news. How bout any of you guys?

There is a steel/wood Gali package available. You just need to install gearbox, barrel, hopup.

Not yet. but you can use AK mid/low cap

That looks impressive. But no scope mount

and from the picture on the first post i thought the galil, might have the rails on the dust cover so that it looks like the Zastava M21. And i woulve liked to get the AR version (I like polymer instead of wood).

Buy the CYMA galil if you like polymer. Wood all the way. The lack of a scope mount is a bit upsetting, would it take an AK scope mount, or is there something more accurate? My Galil-Fu is lacking.

I have a CYMA galil on the way. I doubt the scope mounts that attach to the underside of the reciever would fit, as the Galil reciever is sloped, not square, at the foregrip. You might be able to bodge an AK-style sideplate on there, though.

Or, you cold just get a RAS. I intend to....the rule is "no rails on AK's"....but since this isn't a AK....

The kit itself costs more than a King Arms Galil ...but than again it IS steel.
