Tan long ris?
I'm thinking about building an M4 and was wondering if anybody in their journey around the interwebs had run across a long tan rail system. Something 14" or more is what I'm really looking for. In b4 "use search" "use google" or "buy a black one and spray paint it" Thanks

I've never seen one, and I'm sorry to say, buy a black one and spraypaint it. Is there any reason you don't want to buy a black one?

It's the same thing that I have here, except in FDE: http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=63238 I also have Troy Industries MRF-MX (10") in flat dark earth and I gotta say, their FDE shade is spot-on.

You could always look into an MRE front, they are roughly around the length you are looking for. It may not be the look you want though.

t7 is right d boys makes a mre in tan/sand color is closer to cb i had a few metal bodys this past month that were tan and they were a nice soft color im assuming their rails would look the same.

OMG Illusion that is quite possibly the sexiest M4 I've ever seen either airsoft or real steel. If you dont mind I'm going to use it as teh inspiration for my project. After looking at it I realized I dont really have to have a tan body or ris to get the look I want just some good tan accessories on top ( stock grip rail covers etc. ) also did you pain the BUIS tan or did you buy them somewhere in tan?

Something wasnt sitting right about my last post so I grabbed the old tape measure and double checked on my own build. The MREs only 12 inches long, KA does make a 13.5 inch RAS that with a nice coat of paint should meet your needs.

I would've been happy with the airsoft replica, if it weren't for that fact that it's available in black only. I picked up a couple extra sets and I'm going to mess around with disassembling them and painting them flat dark earth to match the real thing for my spare upper. |
