im new too the sport and im about to buy some new mags for my g36. im going to buy off of ehobbyasia. im finding a few diffrent brands but i dont know what ones work the best. i am looking to get mid caps first.
First off, can i buy these mags and have them shipped to my address in canada, and second, what mags are the best for me to get?.\ the following links are some of the mags im looking it. http://cgi.ebay.com/MAG-G36C-G36-Mid...QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/STAR-G36C-Airsof...QQcmdZViewItem thanks Dan |

As long as there are no fake rounds in the magazine, like g36 lowcaps, then borders issues are unlikely, but may occur.
If the MAG g36 midcaps are anything like the Sig552 midcaps, they require a bit of working in until they feed properly. I hear good things about STAR. |

What brand G36 do you have? Some brands fit better in some rifles.

I have a Classic Army G36. So far I've used MAG, CA, and King Arms magazines. I would say go King Arms hands down. Now, if you haven't bought your mags yet, it would probably be a decent idea to get the magwell conversion and use M16 mags. G36 mags are a pain in the ass.

I have a Star G36 and a midcap... crap.
Always jammed. Get a box set of KA 30 rounders... 52$ at WGC... and it should pass the customs. |

Yeah, KA all the way then Star and finally MAG. MAG mags are cheap but the finish looks cheap too.

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

I used TM mags, never had any issues. My friend used CA's and they had trouble feeding when full even when lubed, and the MAG mags you really have to slap into the magwell to get them to lock in.

I have a CA g36k...
CA (50rds, clear) mags aren't tight enough and wobble sideways. When clipped together, they are also loose and I wouldn't trust them to stay clipped in a game. King Arms (95rds,) mags are a very tight fit and they have a nice flat black finish. Clipped together, they are very sturdy. For easier insertion and release, the part that goes in the magwell has to be filed/dremeled a bit. Mag (95rds) mags fit a little better than KA, don't wobble, but they have an ugly glossy finish and obvious seam lines. Last edited by Omi-san; January 10th, 2008 at 21:53.. |

King arms, 50 rounds with fake bullet are really great..
Not too much expensive and very nice. Try Airsoftparts.ca for those. http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=337 JF |

I agree with kalnaren get the mag well conversion and use M16 mags. I did it to my gun, I can carry twice as many mags and no stupid tabs to get stuck in the pouch or break off. Also M16 mags are cheaper case no stupid tabs and they arn't HUGE! I have King Arms mags... both the M16 and some G36 ones and I have no problems.

Here is another vote to go with the Private Parts Magwell conversion kit. I've been using it for 3 games now and love it! No misfeeds and no problems.
