Gas in mag
Hey, I got a P226 blowback was just wondering if there is a threat to leaving your clip full till the next game (ie 2 weeks to a month)
Also, if it remains full, will the gas eventually deplete? |

IMO, for 2-4 weeks storage, yes, empty it out, leave a bit to keep the seals fresh.

Always leave a bit of gas in the mag.

if you leave rounds in it, the spring will weaken

It's called a magazine, not a clip. Don't discharge all the gas at once as that will damage the seals. Just fire off a few rounds until your shots become weak. It's recommended that a couple shots worth of gas be left in the mag.

My GBB (and M700) magazines are kept full all the time. Only times I've had problems with getting leaky mags is when I leave one or two completely empty for even a short time (had an M700 mag leak badly after leaving it with no gas for only 3 days!)
Leave gas in mag, it doesn't matter how much, as long as it's pressurized. |
