If that were true then maybe going to a 5mm or 4mm bb would be even better. Just as long as the bb could retain the same weight. I wonder if you could make a plastic bb for a regular bb gun.

Almost all German guns of the time were chambered for the same size round, 7.92x57mm, the so called "8mm Mauser" which was orignally designed in 1888, and is still very popular for large game hunting in Europe.

I had an 8mm Marushin Mauser.
Poor performer, the 8mm BB's are too large for use in airsoft. I was not impressed with accuraacy at all. Also this sporter most likely be a shell ejector
