TM M733
What are your opinions on the Tokyo Marui M733 Commando?
From what I've seen (I want to buy it) it performs good, looks good, and doesn't have that wobble. Any of you guys own one? ![]() |

Just for reference, and RIS/RAS that requires a front sight collar to mount will NOT fit an M733. You either have to get an M4/CQB length outer barrel, or a 733-specific RAS/RIS system.

I owned one briefly. It's not bad if you plan on using it as a small stock CQB gun, but if your goal is to start dropping parts into it or accessorizing, I'd suggest you base it off the M4 as it'll be easier to match parts and the M4 has a flattop receiver for mounting optics.
You can throw on a one piece barrel fairly cheap (either a 14.5" M4 length one, or a 11.5" M733 length one, or even a 10.5") and in the end it's just less headaches.

What is the accuracy and range like on it? I know it shoots roughly 284-85 fps, but is it accurate?

I have mine running at 330 fps with a tightbore barrel and I don't think I give away much (if anything) to more upgraded guns.

![]() Goes to show you dont really need to throw down like $500 to upgrade a gun when really if you do the math and plan your upgrades lightly and match parts correctly you can get some damn good performance for alot cheaper. I personally like this gun alot, but then again everyone has there own opinions... But I think its great ![]() ![]()

Just a point of note: When I did this, I found you lose a decent cheek weld on the stock, as the scope sits high above where your eye would normally line up with proper cheek weld on the stock. I have a G&P Aimpoint clone on a low mount, attached to a real-steel carry-handle mount, and I can't even put my cheek on the stock, I have to lift my head way up. The difference in height makes it almost impossible to co-witness the sights to the RDS (if you wanted too).

That is True. When using the regular Iron sites you can keep your cheek rested on the stock and gives you a more comfortable support, where as with the aimpoint mounted so high on the carry handle you literally have to lift your head off your stock and hold it supported by nothing really and can give you a pretty good neck kramp after a good days worth of playing ![]() PS. Skruface I love your damn signature man.... Just noticed it and it cracked me up!
