OA-93/AR Pistol AEG
--
Think MP5K but on an AR-15 platform. What does everyone think about these guns? Real steel examples... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Who would buy one? What's a 330ish FPS, full metal version worth to you? Where would the battery go? Battery Pack? Tactical stock? Personally, I'm all over it. I think it'd make an awesome CQB weapon and I've already got tons of AR mags ![]() More info... http://www.airsoftretreat.com/forums...rchTerms=OA-93 http://www.ar15.com/ (Provided Pics) http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forum...opic=14607&hl= http://www.courter.org/guns/handguns/ar15pistol.html (Provided Pics) http://www.olyarms.com/?page=m1_oa_models (Provided Pics) http://www.quarterbore.com/nfa/sbr-aow-pistol.html (Provided Pics) |

Ugly as sin.
Would be nice with a telescoping stock (And could fit a battery in the VLTOR stock).

I believe Phalanix has made a gun very similar in features.

I believe that PDI/X-fire made conversion kits to get that look. Called them Patriots. Search Arnie's for it. Could fit a battery made from A cells in the buffer tube. (Think 9.6V 2500mAh)

Yeah, the Patriot kits aren't bad at all...
Gotta find the link... http://www.x-fire.org/stylekit/e.patkit.html The railed one is looking to be closer to 450-500 CAD. |

The patriot kits are nice. I've owned one before. Price is reasonable and they are easy to install. But I found the paint to scratch easily and the metal felt very lightweight. Still they are very nice kits.
Sam, let me know when you get some pics of these actual airsoft kits. |

I tried Vondnik's patriot. I can't say it's shit. It's pretty handy for CQB games, but it's a paint to take critical shots at longuer distances, like in long hallways or big open places.
Overall, I hate the look, but it's pretty functionnal.

Well since none of the photos above are of an actual OA-93, no. Stockless, naked buffer tubes are not attractive.
If you were to build an actual OA-93 however: Then yes, I'd buy one. |
