UA is amazing. Man everytime I step on the gridiron you gotta love the armour. Heatgear keeps you cool and keeps you dry and is definetly a must have.
P.S DONT WEAR HEATGEAR IN THE COLD. It keeps you a little TOO cool in the rain. :| |

Would heat gear work in layers in the cold?
I'm thinking skiing since my t-shirt base get soaked when I sweat. I usually wear a turtle neck on top , and then a fleece sweater and then a jacket.

Cold gear is what you want if you want to stay warm. It also helps wisk the moisture away from your body, so you stay dryer and warm. It should work amazing in layers.

I was in Sport Chek today, and they have good udner armour stuff for about $35
I'm sure any sport type store would carry them.

I have an Underarmour t-shirt and I would like to say that they rip easily, as in get loose threads. Nice quality but mine got loose threades within 2 weeks, was wondering if any of you guys have the same problem? or am I just using my shirt too roughly

i don't have any problems with my mock neck UA. i just bought a UA t and another UA shirt yesterday. i did notice that some items fit a bit better in a larger size. maybe ur seams fell apart by stretching too much while putting it on and taking it off......or maybe ur washing machine is too hardcore.

I have both the tight and loose fitting underarmour shirts. the tight ones are definetely a summer only shirt. as for the loose ones, you can wear them in the spring and fall, no way in the actual winter stuff (coming from a military perspective, may be better for airsoft though). I've always found their winter stuff kind of pointless (again military perspective) to buy as since I get issued some nice poly-pro.
I've never had any problems with fraying or stitches coming out. as for the shirt itself; I was just wearing them on exercise and after doing a 10km ruck it didn't take that long to dry the shirt out at all. kept me pretty cool without really feeling all the sweat on me. so yeah the shirts; good for the summer. I'd say buy em if you want one. Greg |

I'd take your shirt back to where you bought it from and get an exchange. The seams should not be falling apart at all, not matter what level you are washing it in. Now like any other material, if you snag it or someone gets a good grad of it, it may rip, but the seams should not be coming loose. If it is just the seams, take it back and it should not be a problem to get it replaced.

My first HeatGear UA pilled after one wear and wash. I bought it at SportChek and returned it as defective, and they happily gave me a new one which has been holding up nicely so far. Good stuff!
