unless you see a bend in your brass barrel, it's kind of pointless to pay for another brass barrel.

Agreed, and agreed some more...I re use the stock brass barrels whenever I can. They polish up beautifully and most people are either throwing them out or selling them off for 20 bucks because they're not stainless. Silly kids...As said, they're much easier to modify as well and if you need to cut them down or re crown them it's a piece of cake. As long as they're straight, they're good!

surface polish is only one factor, bore consistency in how straight everything was when it was bored out is a pretty big part of precison. Stainless barrels are simply less maintenance. Prommy barrels will beat every other stainless barrel on the market given they are down to 1 micron bore variance. You aren't going to see that in a brass barrel.

unless you're some retard tech from the US, then you think prometheus barrels have the same bore finish as 160 grit sandpaper LOL
Imbeciles are using 5micron paste to polish a 1micron finish barrel, they're literally ruining barrels and calling themselves techs.
