Your battery isn't powerful enough.
Use a bigger battery. |

Take the motor out of the pistol grip, plug the connector terminals to the motor, pull the trigger. Does your motor spin freely?
Either 1. The motor terminals are marked in reverse on the motor or 2. The battery does not have the power to pull your spring. |

You could try replacing the motor connectors? I was having similar problems until I replaced mine.

What voltage is your battery? You need a good 9.6 to run that spring.
I also assume "stoke" motor means STOCK motor. What brand? You can pour all the voltage you want into a crap motor and all you will get is heat.

you got some great info up there !
so to resume... try: a bigger battery! unscrewing the screw at the bottom of the grip then check that the motor connectors aren't broken... if none of these works... take it to a gundoc...or try a known "good" motor... personally i dont trust g&g stuff...

I forgot to ask does your gun make a slightly *click* sound when you pul the trigger. the electrical terminals on the motor could be reverse.

aka SNK or Shaniqua

Or like everybody else is saying, your battery is too weak and the click is the motor trying in vain to turn over and failing. A easy test is to get a large battery and try that.

motor height.... it's too far up in the gearbox. This one's pretty obvious.
