Way ahead of ya pal.
I actually do have a pair those are a remake of the JAKKS pacific company Eye-Clops. I already pre-ordered the prestige edition.

Im guessing youll see maybe if your lucky... UP TO 50 feet with these in the dark.
And I am guessing it will only show you the image in 1 eye.... and have a very narrow field of view. Still, for ~$150 or so for the game and these I guess the value of the NVG's in the set does not exceed $70 which is about right for the cheap Gen 0 NVG

just talked to a sales guy fro EBGames a little while ago, 170 for the prestige, 90 for hardened, range is '50ft in total darkness'
