I am not staying in Hong Kong long enough to test the gun and give you a full review. I wish I could, but I only tested it at the WGCshop.

Seems very reliable to me, can't comment much about the cooldown since I only shot the gun in auto with short bursts, when the clip was empty it was still cycling very nice.

The gun seems overall much better built then my WE Scar, which IMO is trash. WE even with the open bolt upgrade the Scar still doesn't perform anywhere near like the VFCMP5.

Yeah, prices are sky high right now due to demand. Unfortunately retailers are the only way to get these in seeing as these aren't capable of meeting the magic velocity.

You could try your luck at getting it custom ordered. Other than that I can't imagine any other route of getting one considering how new they are.

As for the velocity, you can buy, just like I did, I'm waiting on it, a WGCshop custom bolt, they have one for CQB fps and one for field fps settings!

Yes. Only one retailer which means he can actually charge twice that price if he feels like it. From what I've gathered from the various threads regarding this particular gun, that price is still better than custom import (which is your only other option to get your hands on it).

This gun is still fairly new to the canadian market, you'll just have to wait it out if you want to see a lower price and that's IF, a big IF, any other retailer gets a steady source for some at a lower price. That being said, with an overseas' price tag of ~400$ USD I wouldn't get my hopes up to much.
