Real firearm upper receivers (AR15) can be imported without a license. Airsoft is fine, too.

No, it's because that's where the serial number is, which means that's the "firearm" in Canadian law.

It depends on where the serial number is located. For example, on a M4 the serial number in on the lower receiver (illegal to import), but the upper is legal to import. On a SCAR, the serial is on the upper receiver (illegal to import), but the lower is fine.

that's why i just said trademarks... not all AEG receiver have serial number but they do have trademarks and some are just blank
