Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

I don't know why people think GBBRs are a fad. The reason I play airsoft was to be more realistic than paintball, and GBBR seems like the logical next step

@nooblord: GBBR's cool-down effects, limited BB capacity and temperature volitility makes electric win ![]() I'm not sure if you knew this or not, but airsoft evolved from Gas to electric... and these new guns are just throw-backs to the olden' days of Marui Man ![]() Marui Man will come save our souls once again! |

I know it used to be gas, but it moved to electric because people got tired of running around with HPA rigs, no? Can cool down in GBBRs not be compared to heat accumulation in a real firearm? and "limited BB capacity" would also be real cap would it not?

1bb does NOT equal 1 bullet. Unless your standard engagements are 30 feet... Doesn't work like that.

Properly executed electric blowback has good potential, if people would drop their preconceptions and luddite nay saying and give them a try.

Compared to a GBBR, the recoil is obviously limited. Compared to an AEG, well, there's recoil versus not.
Then there are people who are impossible please, and those perfectly content with the idea that airsoft is fine with sewing machines and doesn't need force feedback.

Im content with knowing that I have the marksmanship and skill to make me an effective member of what ever force I am fighting on, my sewing machine suits me just fine
![]() when gbbr's become developed enough to become fieldworthy then I will explore that avenue

If one's looking at airsoft from a predominantly simulation perspective, force feedback from and visual cue of the weapon cycling (whether electric or gas) is a pretty good experience enhancer. If one's looking at airsoft from a predominantly round-on-target perspective, well, why even bother with projectiles? Lasers are much more accurate and effective for point-and-shoot.

of course it's personal, if they work the same way, what other reason would one choose ebb over aeg?
until airsoft bb's behave like real bullets, then we will always be doomed to the limitations of our makebelieve combat world if people cared for electric recoil then everyone would be using one, not so? the fact that ebb has failed to deliver a realistic experience is what has fueled different companies to pursue the gbbr market, because airsofters see it as a truer more realistic experience, myself included, and I will probably get one of those once they become more affordable and fieldable.

The only thing i find usefull on the ebb models is the bolt catching on an empty mag standard aegs could benefit insteaed of continuing to cycle .
