dont necicarily lose all hope some feilds will allow you to play if your 16 if you have a guardian. however getting a gun before 18 is much more difficult.

That is true, but another point is that it helps if people know you on ASC; treat them well and they will help you. Although you seem to be taking the whole "Wait until you're 18" bit very well, which is good; we've had some kids insult us because of the rules that we won't bend/change!

Hell, who knows what will be out by the time you're 18; save up your money, read up on what you want and you can even buy your gear now if you can, there's nothing illegal about buying BDU's, etc.

I got a few guys that play on our league that are under 18. We play on private land 20 minutes out of town though. So don't give up dude. There is still hope if you want it bad enough. Just don't ask anyone around here to sell you a gun.
