I imagine if you wanted to you could make it work. The cost/benefit just doesn't seem to be their though. You can prevent sparking and all that with a MOSFET. And like ThunderCactus said, a ROF higher than the real steel? The amount of $$$ you would have to drop into that gun to make sure it's mechbox didn't explode too... I guess if you wanted to do it as a "proof of concept", but meh, seems kinda pointless.

g36 Rate of fire 750 rounds/min= 12.5 bulets/sec
SO I'd be looking for around 12.5 bbsec. Getting that .5 bb out might be a problem though. lol Of course I never use full auto and spray. that is silly for my gun. But I really am thinking of adding a 3round burst mosfet. Spraying should be reserved for macs. lol I heara stock tm g36c does "easily 17-18 rounds per second". I doubt i am getting anywhere near 10. I will open the mechbox up again and see if the cylinder lube is too think or how that oring is doing.

The biggest problem with a brushless motor is generating the required torque. They are usually not as strong as a "brushed" motor of the same size. Now, when you install it in an AEG, you have to take into account that that motor may have to be starting a cycle with the spring fully compressed for example. This taxes the "brushed" motors all the time.
Brushes are a source of arc formation in a motor, every time they pass over a pole or rolling defect on a commutator. A FET will not solve that issue, only arc formation at the switch.

My friend put a G&P folding stock with the 9.6v 3000mah battery on his stock CA36. That was a stock gun and it easily fired 18 rounds per second.....for about 8 seconds until it stripped every tooth on the piston
