I've been looking around at some EBR info and was thinking I'm kinda starting to like the ChopMop a bit better.

When they say Navy version, it really means Navy grey or lightweight grey. The Mk14 Mod0 was developed for the Navy SEALs.

The appeal of airsoft for me is that I can own and shoot guns that I'm not allowed to normally. That's where my problem lies with the EBR... I CAN own one and shoot it and it's not even restricted here. I can't justify spending $600 on a TM M14, then another $700+ on a stock. Then add optics, and toys and it gets to be expensive. I can also buy a Norinco M14 for $400 or so, buy a chopmod for $1K and throw on an eotech or something and end up at a fairly similar price, but it's real steel and I can goto the range with it and hunt with it. Unless they make a $400 EBR, I won't be buying one anytime soon.

Yeah but you can't shot your freinds with a real EBR.
