Anyone who has the guarder kit, are the taps for the handguard screws in the frame, or do you have to use the brass TM inserts?

i can confirm that the taps are already in the fram and there is no need to use the brass tm inserts.

your welcome.... just as a word of note... it took me close to 7 hours last night to fit the kit and get it together. it will more likely than not require a fair bit of filing to work, but once it is on it is beautiful and well worth the effort.

I'll warn you right now that you may be stripping down the frame once more to change out the hammer spring. Apparently with mine, when it was installed on the same set up as yours, the spring was too hard for the slide to blow back the hammer. I have the stock hamer spring and 150% recoil spring and it still works fine. So you arn't screwed if you find you have this problem, just in for a bit more work.

Wouldnt running the stock hammer spring w/ propane run the risk of a "light strike" during hot weather?

Not sure what a "light strike" is but it works perfectly for me in 15-35 degree weather.
