Don't take it personally. Everyone gets the same treatment. Once you get past this stage it adds up. As for your weapon choice, it wont be cheap. I know you want it for your birthday and thats great congratulations on finally being of Age (in Ontario) to finally drink booze. I think you should concentrate on going and getting hammered instead of buying an airsoft rifle.
It only takes 2 weeks from meeting an AV rep to get Age Verified. Fill in your location and we can help you. LISTEN WE WANT PEOPLE TO AIRSOFT, we dont want to sport to not grow. But these rules are in place for a reason. Have a good one.

if you can't abide by the rules you might as well leave, you clearly are not mature enough to listen to what people are saying, there is clearly another post with exactly the same thing so we are thinking its probably the same person since its posted so closely within each other.

scrolling through the forums and found this convo funny...
I joined TODAY and read all the rules...including how to get age verified...contacted the guy in my area...(I think i know him/know of him too already...)and now await... for someone turning 19 soon, you dont have a lot of patience young padawan |

oh man, i hate to see the process of him going through a firearm license course, he probably end up just going to a black market to a buy a firearm due to the fact of the issued license takes about 1 month to get to him...
