oiling my gun
what should i use to oil my ksc auto 9?
should i oil at all? it has moving parts so i assume i should oil it. |

Silicone oil once in a while, but really if you're using silicone oil in your propane tank while filling mags, it shouldn't need much more than that.

I like to use 1-2 drops of the REALLY light silicone oil in every 8-10 mag fills as AI recommends. In addition, I use some slightly heavier silicone oil to ensure smooth movement of my slide and other moving parts. Just a little dab on the rails and also on the hammer assembly keeps things smooth. It doesn't take a lot but if there's some wear marks on it (so metal to metal contact and friction) it's not a bad idea to give that a little oil.
