G&P M16 rear stock - Is the battery door really plastic?
I noticed that the G&P stock I bought appears to have a plastic battery door whereas my CA one has a metal one. Is this normal? I expected better from G&P.

I've got a G&P crane that I also hate, completely plastic and wobbly. Could very well be that your butt plate is plastic, if need be i'm sure it would be possible to change.
Next time I'll be dishing out for a Hurricane product. |

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

All the G&P crane stocks I've seen were pretty good, not nearly as sturdy as a PTW crane stock, but certainly no VFC HK416 lol

I have a G&P shorty stock, and yes the backplate is plastic, but the stock is really nice.

Ah okay thanks guys! I was comparing my CA M16 stock with my G&P one a little more and noticed that the texture is about the same, but the G&P is very slightly smoother akin to higher grit sandpaper.

Why are you sanding it?

I'm not sanding it, I said it's "akin to..." various grits.
