M4A1 "Masterkey" Pics
I decided after a few weeks of trying to sell these two guns that I would keep them instead and make a masterkey setup out of them.
*This is not for sale* Heres what is involved; AIM M4A1 UTG 870 Shotgun AR15 Scope Black, light gey, dark grey Krylon The M4 shoots 345fps (chronoed) at 900 rpm with a 2000 mah 9.6v Intellect. And the UTG shotgun shoots 260fps. I realize that its not the most practical setup but the entire gun cost me around $330 including absolutely everything. And I am very happy with the results. Any questions or comments? |

pretty spiffy! I saw a gun similar to this on RedWolf but it was horrendous in $$$! How did you attach the shotgun to the M4? Almost looks like theres some adaptor that goes rail to rail...

There is an adapter that goes rail to rail, its called epoxy! LOL. I actually removed some of the plastic from the UTG's rail so that the teeth would fit into the metal teeth on the bottom of my M4. I then epoxied the two together with the butt of the UTG flush with the magwell of the M4.
Its actually incredibly solid and I have no doubt that it will hold up to anything! I would wager that if the shotgun fell off it would actually have to break one of the guns before the bond between the two rails would fail. Thanks for your compliments on this gun, im actually incredibly happy with the entire package. Alot more now that its a Masterkey than when they were two seperate guns. |

Just do what I do, if the shotgun has a rail on the top and your foregrip has an ris or a rail on the bottom, just use the little metal brackety things from scope rings to hold them both together. A set of 3 on mine holds my mine very tight to me gun.

Yeah, I read somewhere that you could do that, but I was concerned about the extra half inch lower that the shotgun would sit. A Masterkey's shotgun should be as close to the M4 as possible.

Mine looks fine. But thats a matter of opinion I guess, to be honest I mainly play out doors and the bloody thing is useless and extra weight, and makes holding wielding it sorta hard, thats why I never use it anymore, now mounting the mp7 to the bottom of my m4, thats a diffrent story. Dual stream of BBs bitches!
