Why would you even want to try? Its not like good quality normal bbs are expensive... if you can shell out for a famas then you can spend the money and buy propper bbs.

Man crossman BB's are total ass, the only application you can appropriately use them in is clearsoft guns. However I used them in my Maruzen M870 gas shotgun because I wanted the unevenness and lightweight BB's to spread out like a real shotgun blast. Crossman BB's are cheap, contain rough seamlines, and moulding excess and to my knowledge is only available in .12g weight. Great for cheap springers as well, but just buy some BB Bastard BB's or something, inexpensive, easy to get and they perform perfectly.

The MAS works great on .20's. bbbastard.com sells good BBs for cheap. If you use the gun on full auto a lot, you'll find yourself shelling out a lot of money for ammo.

wait-- won't the seams on those cheap bbs scratch your hop up rubber leading to inconsistent shots?

Yea, the cheap ones will rip the shit out of a hopup, explode in the gun/barrel, fly to mars with zero hopup, etc. etc.

I always load red 0.12g as the first dozen rounds into my MP5 mags, then fill with (used to be 0.25g) 0.28g BBs. When I get near the end of the mag, the sound of the gun changes and you visually see the 0.12g colour and the fact they overhop so I can change my mag before I get to dry firing.
Pour your BBs into a bowl and look for any bad ones. In my opinion, using reasonable quality 0.12g BBs once in a while is better than dry firing an AEG, or even going 10,000rds without any type of maintainance. The only thing you'd screw up using bad 0.12g is your hop up rubber or even plug your barrel, but not doing any maintainance but using good ammo will do the same. |

Lol, funny thing is, I've gotten a few kills with the red BBs, which surprised me each time.

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

I tried them in my gun because my friend had a few for his softair shotty. I've never seen 5 bbs jam a hopup unit simultaneously before.
