Do you need a big hand for an M9/Beretta 92?
I was thinking of ordering one, but I've done some reading and a lot of people say that unless you hage huge hands they can be quite uncomfortable to operate. Is this true or is it something you think is an exagerated issue? My hands are pretty small so I hope that it isn't going to be like gripping a tree trunk while I'm shooting it.

The grips are not that big, dont worry.
A Desert Eagle would be a problem. |

It's all about how you hold your pistol. I have small hands and don't have any issues with my Desert Eagle.

Im holding my M9 in my hands, I dont have the biggest hands and it fits like a glove. Like Black_Orchid said, its how you hold the gun.

Berreta's are actually very comfortable guns, the grips are fairly nice. I don't see a problem with small hands, maybe a desert eagle, but not a berreta.

To each his own. I found the m9's to be a bit large. The glocks felt much better.

I definitely find the Beretta 92 series big for my hand. I have small hands. Even my primary sidearm, a Glock is not optimal. Of the dual-stack magged pistols, I find the Sig Sauer's to be best fit. Nothing beats a single stack 1911 for comfort though.

I have small hands, and I find the slide lock easier to reach with my thumb on the Berreta than any Colt variant.

Ive got little midgit hands and the M9 fit fine, the Socom was a challenge.

Absolutely try it out.
I liked my WE 5.1 in my small hands, however, my new G23 with Hogue grips fit even better.

i've held every seris of pistol at least once. so i got my hands on 1911's of many makers, M9's of many makers, sigs, DE's and glock's. if order of most comfortable to least
1911 double and single stacked, sigs, M9's, glocks felt to blockly in my hand, then DE's just way akward. now i have good sized hands but this is really quick and from memory. |

Might wanna try on a Beretta 92 Vertec for size, it has a 1911-style straight backstrap instead of the traditional rounded one; if you find the regular 92 a bit too big, that might be your ticket.

From experience:
I noticed something strange, might account for what people say about the beretta... Airsoft Berettas feel great in my hand. The 9mm Inox Beretta I last shot was uncomfortably large in the grip. Might be due to the actual weight of the pistol, or it could actually be that the dimensions on the real gun are wider in the grip... That being said, as far as I've experienced with airsoft, they're pretty comfortable, and even managable with hogues on them. |
