i think having an online quiz where a 70% or better is needed to post for all new members would be very beneficial. questions like: "true/false; a sniper rifle is the best form of airsoft rifle" and such. once they pass, they can post, if they fail, they have to wait a week and do more reading. they have this at this paintball forum i used to frequent. i dont see why we cant do the same.

I think the new Support bars are a tad bit big.

A dedicated newbie forum, and increased number of mods to jump on wayward newbie threads as we see clear indications of increase in airsoft proliferation.

No new threads in the Trash. The Trash should exist to dump trashworthy threads, not to promote a safe haven for them.

True, but those retailers have a choice to say no, if they get PMs.

Mods should have a P&A and Gun sales in one retailer section, and split the gear on the other.

i found when i signed up to this site http://www.gamefaqs.com/ their rules are pretty good... for starters they make you read a extra page about the rules and things about posting, and they only let you post 10 times a day with 1 of them being a thread.... dont know how long this probation goes for but i like it so far....

p.s. its a really good site for videogames....

Summarize a #+ and #- beside the Trader Rating.

i.e.

Trader Rating (30 +ve, 0 -ve) (Taken from the last guy to send me a PM)

It'd be a good incentive to keep a clean slate, and it'd be a good quick reference for buy/sell.

I joined this site to exchange information about Airsoft. There's way too many threads about topics not related to this sport. I would prefer to discourage / stop these non-Airsoft threads.
