I'm not trying to be an ass. I'm actually genuinely interested. This would be nice.

Depends who your writing at the CBSA, I've received both phone calls and emails from them. If anyone does take the risk of importing on their own, and do legally abide to declare their purchases while entering back into Ontario (Which is always the safer way) Be polite, don't be an ass at anytime, make sure the weapons locked in the trunk, or even better if you have (and you should) a lock box, put the newly bought, still packaged toy in there - it'll show responsible shipping on your part after purchasing.
I mean it's all common sense but some lack it. Warchild - Awesome work man ![]() cheers.

tokyo marui has trades though, so they would not qualify.
afaik, Exho-1 also has a firearms manufacturing license (i think thats what its called) that allows them to start putting forearm manufacturing trades on their guns... yet another off the list if thats the case

Of course not. Let's be real, here. He let us take copious notes while he was talking, but there's no way he was going to give us anything affirming it in writing. Remember what we're dealing with here. This is a very small grey area in your laws. Open entirely to their interpretation. To write it down, would be for this man to permanently decide on a matter of law....hardly his job or responsibility. Let's just be glad that they've chosen to be somewhat reasonable about this "grey area" and may permit a tiny segment of AEG's into your country.

G36's are made out of plastic. Or is there some other reason?

Yeah, that was it. I wouldn't really want an armalite unless it was metal, but G36's are plastic in real life and CA36's don't have any real trades. I suddenly want a CA36 again...

$325 + 15% = ~$375 for CA36K makes my blood pressure rise
![]() 5 1/2 hour drive down (according to google maps) + traffic time, long weekend as surebet mentioned...if only I had a vehicle ![]() EDIT: Then again, I probably wouldn't want to try it with something that expensive...maybe get a KWA gbb or something to make sure it actually gets across. |
