I got a pair of MkIVs when I started. For 50 bucks, yeah, they're decent, but they've been giving me a few issues lately. Biggest of all is the fact that they're not particularly comfortable, and the sole keeps slipping out when I take them off. As a starter, you can't go wrong for the price, but if you don't eventually upgrade, your feet will start to hate you.

Have the CF issue boots from Army Issue. Great for rainy and cold days. Really comfy never had a problem with them at all. Just bought a pair of Magnum sidewinders. Cant believe there even more comfy feels like a running shoe. Don't even feel your wearing boots. Guys in my unit have been runing them for a while and they don't even really get dirty it's amazing. The dirt just flakes off them.

Went from a $40 pair of used CF combat boots to these:
![]() My feet have never been sore, or cold ever since... FOR BEING ON YOUR FEET AS MUCH AS ONE TYPICALLY IS DURING AIRSOFT COMBAT, IT IS WELL WORTH $250 IMO |

Quality footwear is often overlooked. It's worth taking care of your feet.

I have two pairs of Original Swat Classic 9" side zips (Black & Tan), a brand new pair of Original Swat's newest boot the Chase 9" side zip, and a pair of Original Swat waterproof side zip composite toe 9" boots for work. I love OS to death, and would happily recommend them to anyone. Always comfy, always light, never a blister.... :-)

Merrell makes VERY lightweight but very good quality boots for good prices. I'm not sure about Canadian prices but I bought mine in NYC for $136 after tax, they're lighter than my regular shoes and are lined with Gore-tex.
If you don't like the very tall style of Army boots I'd try Merrell's line up, they have mid height hiking shoes as well that are better than some boots I've had. |

I have the same in tan, and they are amazingly comfortable. It's a huge step up from anything else I've used in the past.

You're not a true Canadian airsoft player unless you're wearing these:
![]() side note: nice black boots. Wonder if they have some Green ones.

At 100-150$, Original SWAT boots are a great deal.
That, or hiking boots. I personally prefer the lighter, more agile hiking boots.

They're the Assault Si boots by Oakley. MSRP is around $200-250. I got mine in the States.

This is exactly how I feel about these things. Absolutely amazing for air soft, its like a lightweight cross trainer, with the support of a 9 inch boot.
