I just installed a G&P crane stock, from illusion
![]() Since you have an m4, your gonna need to rewire the mechbox to the back... i HIGHLY suggest doing it like this, i didnt run one solid piece of wire, and i really regret it now, big mess inside my body, but it works so im still happy, someday soon im gonna rip it apart and rewire and clean it all up. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...e+stock+wiring |

The great thing about the G&P crane stocks is that if you get the full kit, you will need to make very very minimal modifications to get it to work. Just file a bit of the buffer tube spacer and file out a very small U at the base of the buffer tube and you're good to go.
14 gauge silicone wiring will easily fit in to the groove that the G&P buffer tube has... just enough space to run the wires without having to make insane mods to your receiver. The only serious mod you have to make is cutting down the buffer tube mount on the receiver so that you can get the extra space to allow full collapsability of the stock - another bonus feature of the G&P solution, the best I've come across so far. |

yeah, i love the G&P kit. Once i realized what i was doing, and rewired my mechbox the installation went nice. Just make sure you have nice wires, i suggest picking up some prometheus low resist wiring, as if you run a solid piece of wire instead of soldering wires, it looks nicer and makes the installation ALOT easier. Yep, you dont have to make insane mods to the receiver, which makes it really nice in the end.
After thinking about it, i ripped mine off and rewired the setup so that its a solid piece of wire from mechy-buffer tube, soo much less hassle. |
