I got question about BBs
Hi,
I'v just registered to this forum  I wanna know if 0.12 gram bb could harm my CO2 steel Desert Eagle. I have heard that it best to shoot 0.20 gram but i got lots of 0.12 gram BB, and i dont realy know if it will be OK to shoot it. I dont want to ruin this gun, I have just bought this airsoft gun for 160$ 10q and good day. :-D ho and sorry for the spelling mistakes, my english sucks |

CO2 desert eagle? What brand?
Anyway, generally using .12 grams BBs will not break your gun unless they are the very cheap kind. Don't take my word for it however, someone more experienced than me should be able to answer more accuratly. However, you will get VERY bad performance with .12 grams BBs, my advice would be to use .20s or .25s |

Never heard of a CO2 Steel airsoft gun, but if it's running on CO2 then it's probably serious high powered. I wouldn't use it at any games. .12g bbs won't harm your gun, but you'll notice they'll be flying upwards after a short distance since they are light. Stick with 0.2g or 0.25g bbs

Just try shoot a coupple .12s - you'll see what were talking about, They'll go for about 10ft then go straight up.

.12 will not hurt your gun, but you will not be able to get any decent accuracy at more than 2 or 3 meters.

i would not prefer you to use the 0.12g bullets.
1. too light, you would get crap performance on accuracy 2. 0.12g bb are usualy the lowest grade bb, meaning that they are easiest to break apart. watch out for crumbling the bullets caused by the blow back action!!! My recommendation is not to risk expensive repair from saving little money. |
