Realistic Weight M4 Magazines
Do realistic weight magazines exist for M4 AEG's? I'm talking loaded magazine weight, which according to Colt is equal to 1lb/.45kg. All the metal mags that I have feel like toys even though they are metal; they read in at around .16kg each. Has anyone glued weights inside of their mags? Is that dumb?

Try weighing a GBBR magazine. They are significantly heavier than AEG mags. If you insist on sticking with an AEG you're SOL. Weights inside the mags will replicate the weight but not the balance of a real magazine.

Hobby stores that carry supplies for R/C planes should have lead weights with a sponge adhesive backing. They're pretty thin (about 5mm thick) so they might fit inside a mag between the plastic insert and the metal shell. The adhesive backing would prevent them from rattling around too.
