It's really going to depend on the exact role your going to fill and how much your heart is set on a gun.
Besides the PSG being very expensive to get gameworthy I find AEG snipers much better suited to the designated marksman role then the actual sniper role because the mechbox whine tend to give away your position. A spring or gas sniper while being less useful in a firefight then a semi-auto sniper it does have the advantage of being much quieter so it would be easier to remain hidden in your sniper nest. |

Ya spring or gas is the better choice if you have the money buy a tanaka m700 i've had myne for about 2 months and it still works like i just got it probably the best sniper rifle out the and maybe the most expensive or u could go with a CA M24 i heard those were prty good.

If I were an airsoft sniper, I would go with gas.
1. They have increased power and accuracy. 2. Doesn't have a loud mech box. |

so tanaka m700 is the way to go as far as spring/gas snipers go?

Tanaka M700, hands down.

I have an SL9 SD and I find that an AEG sniper rifle is not the best choice even though it is the sexiest gun ever, lol. BA sniper rifles tend to give more consistent shots while being quieter.
