Full Metal Tanaka S&W 500 Magnum
From Tokyo Model Company...the kit used I believe is Prime or Creation...
      The size of this thing is comical....its like a novelty pistol....

Just chronoed it....5 shots averages about 440fps with 0.20, with min of 385fps., max of 480fps. Strangely its almost the same with 0.25s.....using BB Bastards and propane....
NBB, obviously not as dramatic on the noise front, despite the massive size of the thing.....GBB is more fun to shoot, but this thing is just ridiculous to look at.... |

I am pretty sure Tanaka is still making airsoft, its just they can't make the Cassyopeia(wha? no idea how its spelt) system anymore....the CEO is charge with some criminal suit because of that, but I believe they are very much still around....
Incidentally, when I ordered this the shell loading 500 Magnum was labeled as in stock, but I am not too comfortable running that defunct system especially if the shell loses the seal....the price difference wasn't that great... |
