Airsoft is all about supply and demand marketing. When supply is bad and demand is high like in years past anything goes. These days supply is better and so prices are more competitive as each retailer tries to get a better share of the market.
So this guy having crappy prices just means he wont sell his stock. eventually he wont carry airsoft which sounds good as you have mentioned that he doesnt do airsoft much of a service when he talks about it. A good businessman would of course lower his prices to be more in line with current trends as sitting on stock is never a good idea in retail. From what people say this guy isnt a good businessman in many many ways. So technically he doesnt need to lower his prices... he'll just drop off the airsoft scene lol.
