Red is the colour that should be always bright. The green should be a bit lower for use at night. But changing the batteries will restore it. I just tested mine out with new batteries, the green goes brighter, but I only use green for night use.
The thing with these clones is if your battery is about half used, or a bit more, they will lose brightness on the green forsure. Green will never be as bright in day, than at night.

Nope, it's not. If you have one, you'll know. You can even do battery changes when your lights are turned off and you will know the difference. Green is always much dimmer than red, but when you see a difference brightness in your green, and not usual, it's your battery.
